It's been quite the 10 days. I've gotten my car fixed (no AC), I've gotten more moved in (but I'm still slackin' on that front), and I've got to experience more great situations in life. As cheesy as that last statement sounds, it is true.
The new place is going pretty swell; the place is working out nicely and the people are working out very nicely. I took a gamble by living with a girl this year (completely platonic in nature), which is better than previous experiences with living with women. Then again, she has a "one of the guys" personality, so it's all good.
I am glad summer is over though. I'm not excited because I don't enjoy minimal responsibility, but I am glad I don't have to work in the same situation I have been for the past 3 months. Then again, work is a completely different story which I won't get into. After all, I don't want to offend anyone while I am onymous.
So I will leave with this...
Overheard: (Pointing at a water tower) Do they really put water in those things?

I think I'll make this brief, and semi-chronological from the last post.
Act .5
I forgot to put in here that my bike got stolen. 200 bucks. Gone. Some asshole just had to cut the lock. The funny thing is, I had taken off my seat in fear of that being stolen. I also had a flat front tire I had been meaning to fix. How desperate can a bike-stealer be? Assholes.
Act I
I started moving. We are now living in a place a little further away from campus, but much nicer in my opinion. It isn't that the place is nicer (as I would rate it about the same) but the area is much more peaceful. Call me a hippie at heart, or whatnot, but I sometimes enjoy outside smells and non-loud-drunk-people. As soon as I get this place together, I'll probably post some pictures.
Act II
My car, the '92 Saturn SL2, took a turn for the worse. The AC pump seized up on me while I was driving, thus producing some metal on metal smells along with a lot of heat. With the heat came the breaking of my serpentine belt and lots of smoke. It was quite the spectacle. So right now I am driving our Ford Aerostar, a pimpin' half minivan/half conversion van. This weekend I'll be changing it back out for a self-fixed Saturn. Sadly, the old car won't have AC anymore since I'm just replacing the pump with a pulley so I can get the thing to work. Fuckin' cars.
Act III
Summer is almost over. No vacation. Nothing awesome to brag about. Not even a lot of money to show for it. I guess my pool skills got better, which is a plus. I need to get my classes straightened out soon since school starts on the 25th. 12 credit hours, baby. Should be nice.
All in all, nothing terribly eventful has taken place. Hopefully I get out of this bad-luck-rut that has been taking place soon.
