I am an idealist trying to resist the reality of it all.

I promote values that I will not be able to change on my own.

The idealized values seem futile to others most of the time.

But I figure I only get one chance at it all, so I might as well stick to my guns.

For some reason, I keep forgetting that I have a blog. That, or I get incredibly lazy. That, or I just don't have anything exciting to blog about. I should really find interesting things to blog about, since I do have the time.

Since classes have started, I've skipped 8 of them. It's been 3 weeks. And I still feel up to speed on everything. I've grown completely apathetic toward formal education. Certain classes are able to prepare you for certain experiences, but most classes fail to prepare you for much more than what knowledge you would gain after a night of watching the Discovery Channel and History Channel for hours on end. (I'm mostly criticizing my Geology 103 class right now; my Philosophy classes are actually quite interesting -- especially Philosophy of Religion.)

In other news, I turned 22. First anniversary of being 21 went pretty well.

That's all I got. I need to shower.
